Here is list of frequently asked questions that you may have, if you have a question & don't see it answered here, please message me via the Contact Page, or email me at sugarorganicsco@gmail.com.

What do you use to color the soaps? I use natural colorants, most of my colorants are obtained from clays & suchlike, which means no Mica added. If I do add other colorants, I use Mica, which is non-toxic, cruelty free, ethically sourced, vegan & made in the USA.
Are your products organic? Yes, I use organic: oils, butters & essential oils
Why do some soaps indicate "Sold Out' but have an available date on the website? These are soaps that I have just made and that are curing (drying out). Whenever I make NEW soaps, I want to post them on my site so that you will know that they will be available soon. It is my way of making you aware of the new inventory of soaps that will soon be sold on the website. Once the "available date" comes, you will be able to purchase the soap.
When should I expect my order to be shipped? I ship within 2 to 3 business days after the order payment has been confirmed depending on the time of day that the order was placed; I am in the EST time zone. If an order is placed on the weekend, I will ship the order the next business day. If order is placed on a holiday, the order will be shipped in 2 to 3 business days, depending on when the Post Office reopens.
Will I be notified when my items are shipped? Yes, you will be notified via your email address and a tracking number will be included.
Who do you use to ship? USPS & UPS, you will receive a tracking number when your order is shipped, therefore be sure to include your email address so that you can receive order updates via email.
Do you ship Internationally? At this time, I do not ship international.
Do you label the soaps in the order when shipped? Usually not, because there will be a packing slip/invoice included with your shipment. Please be sure to look for that packing slip. It will have a picture(s) of the soap bars that you ordered, so that you can identify each soap bar that you ordered. If you mistakenly toss it out, just come back here to the website and identify your soaps. I pack each soap bar in an individual paper eco-friendly bag, I do not add all of the frills because my goal is to keep those costs down so that my soap bars will be a competitive price point to pass on to my customers. Once you open your soap bar for usage, labels, packaging etc will be tossed in the trash can, so I strive to keep the cost down but keep the focus on premium organic ingredients for making my handmade soaps and self care products.
I see that you have NEW self care products coming such as the Body Oil and the Hydrating Detox Shampoo, what are those about & will you continue to add to your self care product line? The Body Oil is a great way to hydrate your skin for those who prefer oil over lotion. It will not be a heavy greasy oil, but a light weight oil that will hydrate your skin right after a bath or shower, or during the day when you're feeling a bit dry. My Hydrating Detox Shampoo is something that I've wanted to make for years and it will be hydrating all while detoxing and removing the odors, dead skin and odors such as smoke etc., it will leave your hair feeling: soft, clean, refreshed and smelling amazing. These products will be organic, the shampoo will be vegan and sulfate free and don't forget, I am a Hair Stylist with 30+ years in the Industry; look for these handcrafted products to be released soon on my website, at vendor events and via custom orders.
Are your soaps cruelty free? Yes
Do you have soap that is suitable for sensitive skin? Yes, all of the ingredients that I use are organic & are listed on the page that the soap is listed on. If you have very sensitive skin, which I have sensitive skin myself & I totally understand, there are some fragrance free soap bars that I have as well. My soaps have been heralded for helping with: eczema, psoriasis & other skin conditions; you can also do a skin patch test as well. I also have soap bars with no colorant/no mica & no fragrances in them which would also be good for sensitive skin as well & they will be indicated on my website as having no fragrance, no colorant, some will have colorant which is Mica and the Mica that I use is: cruelty free, vegan, ethically sourced & made in the USA. But some of my soaps will not have fragrance & some will have fragrance but no mica, so I will offer a plethora of options bearing those with sensitivities in mind, but have had no compliants regarding skin irritations from customers using any of my soaps.
Do you make soaps for facial skin care? Yes, I have also listed out the ingredients that are used to make the facial soap bars & I cater to healthy skin care with these bars & also cater to eczema & psoriasis & other skin conditions, therefore my skin care bars are for all skin types & all skin care needs. I have: sea moss bars which are excellent for hydration skin, my calamine soap bars have a drying effect, which is great for oily skin and/or skin prone to itching, my turmeric bars are great for aiding in clearing up dark spots and discoloration, my activated charcoal bars draw out impurities and suchlike and neem bars are great for acne prone, oily, or breakout prone skin. Be sure to do your own research on what soap bar ingredients are good for whatever your skin status might be and that helps you to know which skin care bar to order and I have more information about each skin care soap by type on each product page.
How much does the soap bars weigh? My soap bars usually weigh between 4.0oz/113.3g to 4.5ozs/127.5g for the regular sized bars. Some times I offer Mini Luxe Bars which weigh less and will be indicated on the product page and some of my skin care "peanut shaped" bars will weigh less as well.
How do I make my soap bars last longer? Keep them dry between each usage & do not sit the soap bar in water nor leave near water or moisture; bare in mind that my soap is organic and handmade and therefore there are no proservatives nor ingredients or chemicals that make the soap last longer. You can also order one of my soap dishes which is specifically made to help your soap bars last longer by keeping them dryer and I also offer Sisal "soap saver" Bags, which are used for keeping soap and helping it last longer, you can also use it as a way to bathe or shower by placing your soap bar inside the bag which helps it last longer as well because it keeps the soap bar dry.
Can I return and/or exchange my soap after I order it? Unfortunately, I cannot accept returns nor exchanges due to it being soap bars. Please take your time to select the bars that you'd like to order & read the ingredients to be certain that you are ordering what you'd like to order.
What is a "Soap Pop Up Shop", whenever I do a Vendor Event, I call it my "Soap Pop Up Shop!" and usually they are in the Metro Atlanta area and are posted under my VENDOR EVENTS webpage on this website. You can also see the dates on my IG page @sugarorganicsllc on Instagram. I usually offer Deals at these Vendor Events, as well as some times I will feature a new product that might not be on my website. Are your soaps always the exact same? No and being that my soaps are artisan & handmade, each soap bar is different, each soap batch & soap loaf is different & that's what makes it so amazing. But I will always use the same organic oils, butters, clays & essential oils and fragrances that are wonderful for the skin.
What is saponification? That is the process where oils & butters are mixed with an alkali & go through the saponification process which is how soap is made.
Where are your soaps made? I make my soaps in my home, I have a Soap Room especially dedicated to only making my soaps and self care products.
Can I order by phone? At this time, I only have online ordering which is great for you because it will update you & offers safe secure ways to accept your payments.
Do you have a storefront location or a pick up location? No, at this time I do not, I might consider delivering locally at some point but at this time I do not offer these options but hope to in the future.
Do you offer delivery in Atlanta? This is something that my husband and I are considering when/if a certain amount of soaps are purchased, we are considering offering delivery within a certain mile radius; stay tuned for more information upcoming on delivery service.
What City/State are you located & ship from? I am located in the Northern Suburbs of Atlanta GA & the shipping label will have Cumming GA on it as the shipping address.
How will my order be packaged? I pack the soap orders that are shipped in a waterproof bubble wrap envelope with shredded packing paper for additional protection & a shipping tracking number will be provided.
Why do you need my email address? Including your email address with your order will allow for order updates & if/when I have special discounts for my email subscribers, you will be the first to know.
Can I place a custom order for: baby shower, gender reveal, bridal shower, birthday party, girls day out etc? Yes, I take custom orders, just email me via the Contact Page to inquire, be sure to be ready to communicate what you have in mind: fragrance, color(s), date that order is needed & other pertinent information. Custom orders will need to be placed a month & a half to two months in advance.
Can I place a wholesale order? Yes, I do accept wholesale orders, email me at sugarorganicsco@gmail.com and put the words "wholesale soap order" in the subject line & I will send you an Order Form; payment will need to be submitted in full to accept your wholesale order.
